About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager to join our team in Milton. This role will have you reporting to the Head of Finance Northern (Qld/NT), providing exceptional financial leadership through the daily operations for our regional businesses in accordance with the Company's strategic plans, operating budgets, procedures, and policies.
  • Work with Northern Quarry General Manager and Sales & Operational teams to deliver strategy alignment across the business to successfully develop and execute strategy
  • Use financial targets benchmarks, models and performance metrics to drive the business unit strategic decision making and performance
  • Responsible for the preparation and delivery of operating budgets and forecasts for the business unit in accordance with Group requirements
  • Accountable for delivering monthly reported results ensuring financial results are well understood, reflective of improvement initiatives and materially correct.
  • Use financial analysis to identify areas of risk and provide input into audit, governance, risk, and compliance
  • Partner with Quarries GM, Operations and Sales Managers in their review of profitability and performance.
  • Identify value-adding opportunities in revenue and cost through the application of insightful financial analysis tools
  • Manage capital expenditure budget, building business cases and ensuring investment decisions meet or exceed company hurdles

About You
  • 10+ years finance experience of planning, managing and organizing resources within short / medium timescales within the overall policy framework
  • Bachelor degree (or equivalent) in Commerce, Business, Finance or Economics
  • CPA or equivalent tertiary accounting qualification
  • Strong leadership qualities and business acumen
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
