With a strong growth strategy in place we are seeking to attract and retain more great people to join our team.What Does Success Look Like in This Role?The role will act as the subject matter expert on all finance systems and be the interface between the finance, IT and operations teams. National Storage is currently undertaking several business efficiency projects within finance as well as larger scope bespoke system developments. The role offers the opportunity to make significant improvements within current financial systems processes helping to develop and automate a number of critical business systems such as banking processes, purchase order and procurement processes, and reporting and general ledger structural improvements.Day to Day You Will be Responsible for: Maintaining the integrity of all finance systems, ensuring user rights, profiles, access, and workflows are appropriately configured and maintained to meet the evolving needs of a rapidly growing business.Best practice in areas of financial control systems governance, and processing efficiency.Ownership of system upgrades and maintenance - leading testing and system upgrades to latest finance software releases.Supplying training and overview on new functionality released during upgrades to optimise finance processes and best utilise available systems.Supporting the day-to-day operations of the finance team including the administration, maintenance, and improvement of our Financial Systems (TechnologyOne CI and CI Anywhere, Kofax based account payable automation systems, and standalone payroll software).Supporting wider finance system development projects.Utilising existing knowledge to improve functionality and improve system usage and configuration.About YouTo be successful in this role you will have:Extensive financial systems and accounting experience, including a proven track record in system maintenance and developing process improvements.Appropriate degree and professional qualifications.High knowledge of office administrative procedures and experience.A detailed understanding of Technology One software (Ci anywhere) or other large ERP will be highly regarded.High level of knowledge in Excel, including ability to analyse and consolidated different data sets and automate reconciliation processes.Reliability, initiative, self-motivation and be driven to succeed without supervisionA proactive approach and outlook.The drive to always looking for new/improved ways to do business.A willingness and ability to adapt to change.A cohesive work style with strong relational skills and the ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholdersBenefits - Why Work With Us?
