SF Recruitment are excited to announce that they have partnered with a vibrant business based in Newark-on-Trent who are currently seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join an innovative and growing business based on a full time permanent basis.
Reporting to the Finance Manager as part of a fast paced, dynamic and close team duties will include:
- Preparing income statements, balance sheets and other financial documents
- Measuring the company's financial performance based on financial records
- Identifying problem areas and presenting recommendations to manager
- Supervising one other team member
- Overseeing other aspects of financial operations such as bookkeeping
- Running monthly payroll when necessary
- Provide support during budget and forecasting processes
- Prepare VAT returns
- Evaluating and monitoring financial information systems and recommend improvements where needed
Essential skills and experience:
- AAT Qualified or similar
- Previous experience working in a varied accounts role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- Proficiency with spreadsheet and accounting software programs
- Organisational skills
- Good personal interaction skills
