About the role:

We are searching for a motivated Assistant Account Manager with exceptional communication and time management skills. As an Assistant Account Manager, you will be supporting our Senior Account Management team by helping with day to day enquiries and resolving customer queries. This will involve liaising across departments where necessary, responding to client queries within strict timeframes and delivering essential reports as and when required. As your confidence and knowledge grows, you will progress through to taking ownership of a set of accounts and then hopefully to join our Senior Leadership team. Excellent verbal and written skills are therefore a must, and the successful Assistant Account Manager will have some previous Customer Service/Account Management and Reporting experience.

About you:

You will have a “can-do” attitude and outstanding customer service skills. Having previously worked in a similar office environment, you will be able to provide much-needed support to the team whilst managing your own workload effectively. You will have a keen eye for detail and an ability to prioritise your workload. You will be confident and driven, ideally with a desire to progress within the team. You will be competent using computer systems and software.

Role requirements:

* Assist the Account Management team with the day to day running of Clients

* Provide a responsive service to client queries, both internal and external

* Provide a positive client experience

* Correspond with clients via phone and email

* Prioritise and adapt to suit a varying portfolio of clients

* Improve service levels by proactively looking for potential issues

* Manage/liaise with suppliers and subcontractors when necessary

* Produce regular detailed reports as well as on an ad hoc basis

* Analyse reports and feedback to Account Management team

* Ensure all KPIs are achieved, escalating issues where necessary

* Ad hoc administrative duties supporting Senior Management and staff

Person requirements:

* Experience of B2B Customer Service within an office environment

* Self-motivated and able to manage your own workload

* Excellent communication skills

* Confident dealing with internal Stakeholders and Clients alike

* Analytical skills and ability to interrogate data

* Computer proficiency is essential, especially Sheets and Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUp etc).

* Knowledge of G-Suite would be advantageous

* Experience using a CRM system (Salesforce or similar) would be beneficial

* Commercial awareness

* A background in facilities management, estates, parking or retail would be an advantage, but not essential
