A construction company based in East London are seeking a purchase ledger to join their finance team.

As a Purchase ledger you will be responsible for :
  • Maintaining the purchase ledger
  • Preparation of monthly bank reconciliations
  • Liaising with suppliers and banking contacts
  • Preparing schedules, statements, and reports as requested
  • Receive, verify, and process expenses
  • Address and respond to vendor inquiries
  • Understand compliance issues around accounts payable processes

As the ideal candidate your knowledge and qualifications will include :
  • Current construction industry experience is a bonus but not essential
  • Experience processing invoices, credit control, raising statements of accounts and reconciliation on a weekly basis for their supplier accounts
  • Proficient Microsoft Office knowledge and skills
  • Strong time management and organisational skills

This role is paying up to £30,000 and is fully office based.
