As an investment research analyst, youll independently conduct fixed income research projects assigned by portfolio managers. Projects include analyses of individual securities, classes of securities and quantitative portfolio risk assessment. Classes of securities include, but are not limited to, corporate, agency, municipal and government bonds, mortgage, asset and commercial mortgage-backed securities and preferred stocks. Youll also make specific investment recommendations and track and review investment results with portfolio managers. In addition, youll develop and maintain both internal and third-party systems and databases to support analysis.

Must-have qualifications

• Masters degree or higher with at least three years of relevant work experience
• In lieu of a masters degree, bachelors degree with at least five years of relevant work experience

Preferred skills

• MBA highly preferred (the ideal candidate for this position will complete their MBA degree by spring 2023 and be able to start full-time summer 2023)
• Demonstrated interest in corporate finance, accounting, and fundamental investment analysis
• Knowledge of current events and major macro-economic developments
• Exposure to fixed income markets, bond math, yield curve dynamics and/or corporate credit analysis is helpful but not required
• Ability to present information in an organized and clear fashion in both verbal and written communications

Compensation

• Base Salary: $130,000 - $165,000/year
• Bonus: Up to 40% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
• Participation in our restricted stock units plan
