About the Role
In this role you will be providing commercial insights to our operating unit management teams, in relation to forecast plans, budgets, suggest improvement opportunities to support business growth. A highly autonomous role with some travel required.

About the Role
In this role you will be providing commercial insights to our operating unit management teams, in relation to forecast plans, budgets, suggest improvement opportunities to support business growth. A highly autonomous role with some travel required.
Key responsibilities:
- Review and challenge business performance in relation to forecast plans and suggest improvements or opportunities
- Prepare price modelling as required
- Partner with primary Operating Unit team/s to prepare Operating Unit plans and budgets in alignment with Divisional guidelines and timetables, incorporating appropriate challenges and analysis
- Provide financial modelling and analysis supporting projects, tenders, acquisitions, and business development initiatives, as required
- Provide strategic, business and operational planning advice as requested by the Business Unit management team, as required
To be successful in this role you must have:
- Strong data modelling and analysis skills
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Ability to collect and analyse data from multiple sources and systems
- The ability to work both collaboratively in a commercial team, and autonomously
- Excellent time management and commercial skills
- Ability to communicate complex accounting issues to non-accountants
- Ability to communicate with senior management and external stakeholders in a clear and credible way, with the ability to take charge if required
- Knowledge of the transport, logistics, or waste industries would be useful
