Core3 are delighted to recruit a Credit Controller for a growing consultancy brand Based near Central Bristol. £28,000 - £30,000 + great benefits. Hybrid working environment.

How you'll make an impact

Reporting to the Finance Director, you'll be tasked with the collection of debt from the portfolio of clients, working with them to find solutions and plans to reduce ledger size. This is a key role in the department and one where maintaining customer relations is important.
  • Credit Control
  • Chase current and historic debts via phone, email and letter
  • Meet agreed targets for monthly receivables and keeping bad debt to a minimum
  • Sending copy invoices and credit notes when necessary
  • Production of quarterly client arrears reporting as and when required
  • Liaison with client accountants for completion of debtor reconciliation and allocation of payments where required
  • Handle disputed accounts professionally and negotiate payments so they are brought in line with the lease covenants
  • First point of contact with tenants in relation to account balances
  • Identify, assess and inform surveyors and business management of any issues that arise in relation to the debt collection performance
  • Maintain and monitor the debt collection records of all tenants including information on any payment plans agreed with clients
  • Creating, updating and managing credit control processes and procedures in an ever changing and demanding environment

  • Previous experience in credit control essential, within the property management industry is desirable but not essential

  • Advanced IT skills including Outlook and Office products
