Commercial Credit Manager
How will I help?
You will ensure all credit decisions and recommendations within Credit Authority Limit are soundly based, involve appropriate research and analysis and reflect the standard policies and risk appetite of the organisation. You will work as a business partner with other units of the bank, influencing acceptable risk/reward outcomes and will need to apply a broad knowledge of economic, industry and appropriate market data to support decision criteria.
What do I need?
Formal qualifications in the area of banking and finance and a demonstrated skillset in credit/risk management would be an advantage. You must have good leadership attributes, relationship-building with effective decision-making and problem-solving skills and have a good understanding of balance sheets, financial statements and the ability to deal with ambiguity and change is essential..
