Mō te Tūranga | About the role

As an International Operations Consultant you will be responsible for delivering seamless Customer Service and Back Office support.

This role will see you interact with several internal and external parties, so your ability to engage and influence will be important to your success. Equally important is your well-developed problem-solving skills needed to resolve day to day reconciliation/ investigation and bank account balancing activities.

This is a multifaceted role that will require someone to have exceptional attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines while managing a high volume of work. Ideally you have a strong working knowledge of payments and experience from within a financial services company.

Na tōu rourou | What will you bring?

An understanding of Retail Payments and ideally have hands on experience of processing high volumes of incoming and outgoing payments over customer accounts.
  • SWIFT experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Work within a multi skilled environment that requires the incumbent to become proficient in performing all roles within Payment Operations.
  • Proven experience in banking and finance industry
  • Ability to work collaboratively and a genuine desire to help
  • Self-starter with strong communications skills
  • Attention to detail and a can-do attitude
  • Intermediate computer skills

Key operational responsibilities will include:
  • Processing of incoming and outgoing SWIFT payments.
  • Reconciliation and Investigation of unprocessed payments.
  • Timely response to queries from internal and external customers.
