About the Role

The role of the Finance Officer is to provide comprehensive financial support to the organisation in conjunction with other finance team members, whilst providing a customer focused quality service to both internal and external customers of the Finance Department.

Duties
  • Complete fortnightly, monthly and quarterly Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) Fee for Service (FFS) payments for authorisation and delivery to the Accounts Payable Officer (APO) with standards and required timeframe
  • Complete review, payment and analysis of pathology and patient transport invoices
  • Complete fortnightly and monthly accounts payable runs for Heyfield & Stretton Park
  • Maintain Insurance services for all entities, including but not limited to claim ledgement, excess payments, annual renewals and follow-up
  • Complete fleet vehicle administration

About You
  • Certificate IV in Administration, Accounting or Bookkeeping or equivalent or willingness to work towards achieving same, or equivalent practical Finance/Administration experience
  • Understanding of Microsoft Suite especially Excel
  • Experience with Medfeps, Oracle FMIS, PowerBudget, and PoolCar systems desirable but not essential
