The Role

This is a great role for anyone who wants to secure a quick start position as commencement is scheduled for the 6th of February. Daily Location is close to Kew in Melbourne's inner east.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, some typical duties in this position will involve:

• Controlling the billing and invoicing cycle
• Managing billing amendments by way of extra charges and discounts where applicable
• Regularly liaising with customers and clients to answer billing queries
• Accounts receivable reporting
• Processing and allocating incoming payments
• Acting as support to other functions within the accounts department
• Liaising with external debt collection form who manage the credit control aspect

Interviews for this role will start from Wednesday the 1st of February with the successful candidate commencing around Monday the 6th ideally.

The role will commence initially on a contract basis for 9 months but has a very strong chance to become permanent towards the end of the year. For this reason, we are seeking applications from those who have long term working rights and are interested in permanent positions.

Your Profile

You will have a background in accounting support with ideally a minimum of 1 years experience in a similar position. The following attributes will also be highly advantageous:

• Able to commence from 6th of February
• Prior experience in a position that encompassed Accounts Receivable
• Pleasant, friendly character and good communication skills
• Stable career history
• Comfortable with Kew as a location
