An attractive opportunity has become available as a Payroll Officer working with a well-established, culture-oriented Healthcare organisation in Western Sydney.

Our client has a collaborative and supportive team who are passionate about their work & believe in the mission of the organisation. Onsite parking is provided & flexible work arrangements are on offer for the successful candidate, currently the team is working two to three days from home!
Initially beginning as a six-month temporary (contract) assignment there is a genuine opportunity to become a long-term fixture & continue to professionally grow within the organisation as many others have done.
About the Role
This is a dynamic position to support the end-to-end payroll processing for around 500 employees, support the wider Payroll function with general duties and assist driving the function to success. You will be a key addition to the payroll team supporting projects, new initiatives & partnering with stakeholders across the wider business.

To be successful in this role & thrive in the culture you will exhibit excellent interpersonal skills and have the proven ability to influence & advise key stakeholders. You will have a process improvement mindset & look to improve upon the established function. Experience using Technology One or Kronos will be highly regarded & advantageous.

Duties
Reporting directly to the Payroll Manager your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Support the end-to-end processing of Payroll;
- Fortnightly & monthly payroll up to 500 employees across ANZ;
- Analyse & interpret complex EBA's & awards;
- Identify process improvement opportunities within the payroll function;
- Process new starters & potential termination payments;
- Attend to internal payroll queries;
- Calculate leave, termination payments etc.; and
- Ad hoc project work as directed by senior management.
