I have been engaged by a major player in Australia's construction industry to be part of a huge construction project for Queensland. They are looking for an experienced and dedicated Payroll Officer to join their team on a permanent basis. You will be joining the company right at the beginning of this exciting project and have the scope to support the project from a payroll perspective until its completion. The role will be based in the site office and has parking on site.

The role:

• Process the end-to-end payroll accurately and on time
• Interpreting relevant Award and EA's to correctly process payroll.
• Attending to payroll queries
• Reconciling of payroll, PAYG and superannuation payments and authorised payroll deductions
• Set-Up and termination of new and existing employees.
• General related tasks and administration as required.

About you:

• Minimum 2 years' experience in an end-to-end payroll processing role
• High level of attention to detail
• Strong IT literacy and experience with large ERP and Payroll systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Reliable and capable of working independently
