Major Financial Investment organization seeks a Financial Accountant located in Sandton. Requirements:
Debtors
- Completed Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Completed Articles in Small to Medium Auditing firmSage X3-ERP (Preferable)
- Strong Accounting skill
- Good knowledge of IFRS
- Monthly reconciliations:
- VAT
- Creditors
- Debtors
- Cash and bank
- Monthly intercompany reconciliation and confirmations
- Procurement recoveries
- Weekly/monthly cash monitors
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations - other accounts
- Monthly/Bi-monthly VAT 201 returns
- Month-end invoicing
- Month-end journals
- Loading payments for suppliers
- Prepare/provide supporting documentation as required by auditors
- Prepare financial statements for head office companies
- Prepare annual tax returns for head office companies
- Payroll taxes (EMP 501 + EMP 201)
Debtors
- Sales invoices to customers
- Send out customer statements
- Collections
- Maintaining an audit trail
- Timeous resolving of queries
- Raising purchase requisitions and orders
- Capturing invoices
- Obtain supplier statements monthly
- Reconciliation of individual suppliers to the general ledger
- Custodian of BEE certificates
- Maintaining an audit trail
- Timeous resolving of queries
- Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
- Ensure compliance with all Group and local deadlines and requirements
