We are currently recruiting for a Revenue Allocations Assistant to join our Finance team in Leicester on 6-month, fixed-term contract.

This is a hybrid role; the successful applicant will be working from the Leicester office with the opportunity to work from home once training fully complete and a schedule agreed with your manager

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Finance Transactions Manager, you will assist in allocating the Pershing and non-Pershing revenues for the group. The successful applicant will be responsible for allocating and reconciling the adviser remuneration revenue on MWeb and Adviser Office.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Delivery of our financial objectives is key to the success of Mattioli Woods plc and are supported by robust, financial processes. The successful applicant will work closely with the team, providing administration support with a range of financial process.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • reconciliation of income bank accounts and identification of revenues
  • collating remuneration statements from investment platforms, providers, and insurers
  • three-way match between cash, remuneration statements and CRM system expectations
  • allocation of paid income to CRM systems as required
  • posting revenue journals in to finance system (Microsoft Dynamics 365)
  • preparing and issuing adviser reports

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • ability to work as part of a team based across multiple locations
  • numeracy skills and confidence in reconciling high volumes of financial transactions
  • confident using Microsoft Excel
  • working knowledge of double entry bookkeeping and VAT recording experience
  • a logical and pragmatic approach to problem solving
  • experience of Microsoft Dynamics 365, Advisor Office, Xplan or Intelliflo Office (desirable)
