OVERVIEW:
Our client, a successful manufacturing business, is looking to recruit a Management Accountant to the team. Reporting to the Head of Finance you will contribute to the decision making process in order to ensure business growth and long term success. This is an exciting time to join the business and an opportunity to really make this role your own and become an integral part of the finance team. An immediate start is available for the successful candidate.
THE ROLE:
Responsible for bank reconciliations, credit card and petty cash
Undertake financial reporting for key stakeholders when required
Prepare and process payroll on a monthly basis including analysis of overtime
Responsible for the maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register
Maintain the balance sheet reconciliations for monthly financial to include prepayments and accruals
Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns
Ensure UK legislation is adhered to
Undertake strategic analysis
Debtor analysis
Prepare financial statements to TB level, prepare journals for sign off
Monthly reporting pack/board presentation
Weekly P&L
Gather and analyse financial information for internal use
Support budgeting and forecasting
Evaluate companies' performance using key data
THE CANDIDATE:
Experience of management accounts ideally in a manufacturing environment
Analytical mind, excellent communication and presentation skills
Good problem solving skills with attention to detail
