Finance Business Partner

We are delighted to be supporting an organisation with an outstanding reputation in recruiting a Finance Business Partner to join their team. Reporting into a Finance Director, you will play a key role in the production of monthly management accounts for your budget holders.

The responsibilities of a Finance Business Partner are to:

• Produce monthly reports for each site under their remit for the Principal, Business Managers, and other budget holders
• Support the Financial Controller in the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements as laid down by statute
• Provide analysis and insight, linking financial reports to Trust strategies
• Implement changes to ensure key targets are met by building and maintaining relationships with principals and other budget holders.
• Act as a financial advisor - offering general financial support to the principals and other budget holders
• Support and advise budget holders on the requirements required to submit business cases to the Trust and outside funding bodies.
• Maintain the Trusts accounting system, ensuring data is accurate, reliable, and stored confidentially, referring any issues to the Financial Controller.
• To undertake project- based work for specific strategies and Trust initiatives
• Provide quality information as required to external bodies for example to the ESFA or the external auditors
• To undertake any other duties, commensurate with the level of the post, as may be required from time to time.
