Our client, a leading specialist distributor of IT products is urgently looking for a dynamic candidate to fill the Creditors Clerk position.

Key Performance Areas:

• Maintaining of Cashbook
• Processing of Local Creditors
• Responsible for general administration
• Define team outputs
• Full function of the collection of due & overdue accounts.
• Achieve monthly targets set.
• Customer account reconciliations.
• Apply customer payments accurately from the bank statements, and allocate the payment to the required invoices, according to the customer's remittance advice - correct payments allocation is of critical importance.
• Attend to all customer account queries with a minimum of delay, and daily follow up on progress.

• Grade 12 with mathematics as a subject
• Certificate in Credit Management up to Level 3
• Diploma in Bookkeeping or relevant courses completed, Studying towards a financial degree
• 1-2 years' experience in a financial administrative position
• Min 5 years' experience as a creditor's clerk / accounts payable
