The Position 

As a Junior Finance Executive with Intrepid, you will be responsible for processing accounts payable/receivable tasks and supporting less complex general accounting activities.  In this position you will focus on ensuring operational efficiencies in your everyday work and supporting continuous process improvement in the shared services operations.  This is a full-time permanent role based our of our office in Colombo Sri Lanka.

Some of the day-to-day tasks you’ll be responsible for are: 

• Processing of revenue, cost of sales and other overheads of the business. 
• Managing Accounts payable, invoices, overheads and proforma invoices 
• Manager Leader accounts, and records of local leader sales 
• Perform General Accounting and Reporting 
• Ensure all accounting policies and procedures in place are followed 
• Ensure clear, efficient and effective communication always to group wide businesses and our external customers. 

Some of the essential skills you’ll have are: 

• Undergraduate in Accounting or equivalent professional qualification  
• 1+ years of experience in a Finance role  
• Highly competent Process and Systems knowledge  
• Well-developed computer literacy skills in MS Office environment
