French Speaking Credit Controller

Your new company
Hays are working in partnership with a successful and growing business based in North Essex. This company are at a pivotal point in their expansion and are looking for positive and proactive people who want to embark on this journey with them.

Your new role
The main purpose of the role will be to take control and ownership of a varied ledger of high volume and high value clients and ensure the collection of debt. Specifically this will include:

• Proactively chasing moneys invoiced
• Collecting overdue debts varying from £50-£500k
• Managing the customer 'on-stop' process
• Producing basic debt reports
• Supporting the Head of Credit in developing better ways of working
• Producing copy invoices, remittances etc when needed
• Resolving customer queries in a quick and efficient manner

This is a full time role working 40 hours a week between Monday and Friday, ideally between 8am and 5pm each day but exact working pattern can be flexible for the right applicant. This company offers a hybrid working model initially working 1 day a week from home, with a view to this increasing in the near future

What you'll need to succeed

You will need to be a fluent French speaker. You will ideally have at lest 2 years in a similar credit control position and be confident communicating with customers via phone and email. You will have strong IT skills including Excel and have a positive and proactive attitude.
