Accountant - Analyst

We are seeking a highly proficient Excel user - ideally with SQL but certainly Advanced Excel for data analysing during this busy time - manufacturing environment - an exciting time to join this massively growing business with new products to market!

up to £25 per hour

3 days in the office and 2 remote

• Assisting the FP&A Manager in profiling, manipulating, analysing and presenting data, both financial and non-financial, that will help drive an understanding and in turn challenge our current processes
• To help do the above, you will be instrumental in providing support with the on-going development of the business's ERP Tool (IFS) which will empower the business to take key decisions
• Liaising and partnering with relevant teams within Supply Chain and Purchasing, to assemble, validate and analyse the data before it is presented
• Connecting thinking together - recognising inter-dependencies and inconsistencies within the data sets
• Providing support across the business to assist with managing the system data structure across system sources (i.e. IFS ERP).

The position will be analysing key areas of labour costs and converting weekly/monthly reports into daily reports and looking at trend spends on stock items and creating a forecast

We will consider QBE, PQ and AAT/ACCA/CIMA level candidates - you must have an eye for detail and exceptional Excel skills
