Eventus Recruitment are seeking a Cost Draftsperson for an award winning company with multiple offices throughout the North West. This firm have an ambitious mind set, yet approachable and down to earth attitude. You will assist in providing a costings service to the Firm/Client, which enables departments/client to have their files properly finished and billed and those bills submitted to the relevant bodies for payment.
You will provide support to departments and clients in preparing claims for payment, prepare cost schedules for negotiation, solicitor client bills, gross sum bills, schedules for Summary Assessment and costs estimates. You will be working closely with the fee earner and client, this includes providing advice upon costs negotiations / recoveries and effecting swift and accurate payment/settlement. You will ensure that payments are allocated to the correct file/matter when funds are received and ensure that files are satisfactorily concluded.
You will have experience of working as a Costs Drafter, and drafting bills/schedules of costs, to include new model form precedent S electronic bills. You will demonstrate the ability to prioritise work, have strong communication skills both face to face and over the phone and the ability to work productively amidst frequent interruptions.
