P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking a Finance Assistant to join their team based in Lowestoft on a part time, temporary basis.
Our client is recruiting a Part Time Accounts Assistant to work at their Lowestoft office. This is a fixed term contract of 9+ months to cover a period of maternity leave working 30 hours per week.
Our client is a leading global energy service provider, delivering technical assurance through non-destructive testing, inspection and certification to the capital-intensive, high-risk energy, utility and infrastructure industries in every region of the world.
The ideal candidate will be a team player, with a positive can do attitude, a strong finance background and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word.
Main
Responsibilities:
* Assist in month end close.
* Processing of subcontractor invoices.
* Processing of weekly timesheets.
* Processing of customer invoices.
* Assist in resolving accounting issues.
* Keep all files/systems up to date.
* Deal with day to day communications/enquiries.
Experience and Qualifications:
* Must have experience in a similar role
* Excellent organisational skills
* Must be able to work to tight deadlines with the minimum of supervision
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Oil and Gas Industry Background (Desirable)
* Knowledge of SAP (Desirable)

* Monday - Friday
