Success Recruit are currently working with an established property firm based in East London who are seeking an Accounts Assistant to support within a small accounts team.

The successful Accounts Assistant will ideally have experience working within a corporate environment and business that have different trading divisions and costs, ideally within the legal, property or construction sector however training will be provided in any areas needed.

The successful Accounts Assistant will be expected to:

• Work under pressure and high attention to detail
• Work with high confidentially & hold strong communication skills
• Experience using sage software

Job Specification

Purpose of the Role

The Accounts Assistant will be responsible for the general accounts administration and responsibility for sales ledger daily but also supporting other team members whilst training to support when other members of the team are out of the business to ensure the smooth running of the department always continues.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Processing daily transactions for sales ledger, purchase ledger, payment allocations, bank reconciliation
• Processing expenses
• Managing company credit card transactions/payments/reconciliation
• Assisting in the production of reports and data outputs for management accounting
• Credit control
• General finance tasks

This is a great opportunity to join a friendly, supportive team and have responsibility predominately for the sales ledger of multiple trading divisions within the partnership. NB This is an office based position.

Hours: Monday to Friday - 9AM to 5:30PM



Salary:
£25-£30k dependant on experience
