Connect Appointments have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller to join our client in Livingston, West Lothian.
You will be working for a forward thinking, family run leisure business, as they continue their campaign of being one of the worlds most trusted suppliers of leisurewear to the garment decoration industry.
Working as a Credit Controller:
Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:30
A later shift pattern may apply during peak times, Mon to Fri, 10:00 to 18:30
£21,000 to £24,000 per annum
30 days holidays. inclusive of stats
Pension contributionsYour duties as a Credit Controller will include:
Assess credit risk for all new and existing clients
Prepare monthly Aged Debt & Risk Reports with comments
Allocation of cash received on sales ledger
Ensure prompt payment from all clients and prompt identification of payment issues
Helping to improve processes and improving internal systems
Maintaining existing client relationships
Resolving queries and reduce DSOThe ideal applicant will be able to demonstrate an energetic and proactive approach to their work and be able to work accurately and on their own initiative. They will be able to communicate at all levels within the business and be focused in delivering results. In return they will be gain a good broad experience within a highly commercial organisation.
Your desired skills, traits and experience will include:
12 to 24 months experience in a Credit Control environment
Strong Microsoft excel skills
Ability to communicate across all levels of the business
Be a strong multitasker, with good organisational skills
Be able to build rapport with clients and have a confident phone manner
