Job Purpose

Investment specialists combine technical expertise/high level of investment knowledge with commercial acumen, working to grow AXA IM Core 's business in partnership with Investment Teams & Client group.

Key Accountabilities

Create and update investment related collateral for assigned strategies
  • Own the marketing message for assigned strategies and produce high quality content for external audiences, including fund presentations, web content and other promotional literature
  • Writing regular publications (e.g., Perspectives documents) on a monthly/quarterly basis
  • Updating standard PowerPoint fund presentations and reports on a monthly or quarterly basis
  • Provide support to the creation of bespoke PowerPoint product/solution presentations
  • Ensuring all presentations and reports are in line with compliance requirements
  • With all the above tasks, you will be expected to proactively suggest and carry out enhancements to the processes and documents

Contribute to/drive business development for assigned strategies
  • Work with the RFP team to structure appropriate and high-quality answers to prospect requests. Participate in sales process from RFP review/support to finals pitches
  • Communicating fund/strategy updates to all relevant teams internally, in a timely and articulate way
  • Answer ad-hoc requests and information queries sent by the Client Group and other internal teams
  • In liaison with all parts of the company, gather, organize information on the firm, the strategies, processes, portfolios, and performances for the purpose of responding to ad hoc questions, preparing investment review material and attending/delivering performance review meetings
  • Contribute to new product development in liaison with product development and fund range teams

Represent Investment team in client facing occasions where relevant
  • Represent the investment platform with existing assigned clients and prospects where relevant
  • In liaison with all parts of the company, gather, organize information on the firm, the strategies, processes, portfolios, and performances for the purpose of responding to ad hoc questions, preparing investment review material and attending/delivering performance review meetings
  • Closely work with the sales teams globally to identify client needs and present accordingly existing strategies and/or what might be a solution to their guidelines

Active contributor to investment team meetings
  • Know about portfolios, guidelines positioning and active strategies
  • Understand market dynamics
  • Provide relevant clients/sales team's feedback
  • Help to define key performance messages for assigned strategies

Active contributor to Investment Specialist team meetings & projects
  • Work towards the automation of tasks (e.g., using Tableau software)
  • Propose new ideas or solutions to improve development, quality of service or productivity
  • Participate proactively in Investment Specialist team meetings/ transversal projects
  • Assist the Heads of the Investment Specialist team and colleagues to foster teamwork

Your Profile

Role Requirements

Education/Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher required
  • CFA / other technical qualifications a plus

Experience
  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar/same role within Asset Management or Financial Services

Knowledge and Skills
  • Perfect command of English (written and verbal) is required; other languages are a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PPT, Word and Excel) is required; prior experience working with Tableau, Bloomberg a plus
  • Ability to write articulately and concisely on technical subjects is a must
