The Role

SF Executive are working with a leading services based in Warwickshire in search for a commercially focused Group Finance Director to join the Senior Leadership Team.

Working closely with the Managing Director and Group Commercial Director, you will have overall control and responsibility for all financial aspects of company strategy as well as leading the Finance, Payroll, and IT functions within the business. You will analyse figures and implement recommendations based on your findings in order to ensure the most profitable outcomes.

The Person

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA or equivalent) with a background of owning a finance function within a multi-site service environment.

You will not only be an exceptional accountant, hands on with company finances but be commercially aware and advise on financial, fiscal, and commercial strategy.

Key skills required:

An experience financial leader with extensive experience of owning a finance function
Ability to drive and deliver process improvement and significant financial savings
Experience of working within a SME service industry
Excellent stakeholder management skills
Ability to build effective relationships at all levels across both finance and non-finance teams
A passion for coaching and developing your team to achieve business excellence
Confident to take initiative and have a hands-on approach as well working as a strong team-player with the willingness to support the team
Ability to oversee multiple tasks and deliver to deadlines
A track record of process automation is highly desirable
Computer literate with a high level excel skills and solid understanding of accounting principles
Conditions

This exciting full-time opportunity will be onsite 5 days a week and offering a base salary from £80,000 to £100,000
