Our client is a leading manufacturer within the food industry, looking for a Senior Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their growing company. The successful candidate will have experience with credit control, raising invoices and sending to customers and will have great communication with colleagues and customers.

Job Description

Raising of invoices and sending to customers
Monitoring receivables balances and minimising aged debt by working collaboratively with customers for payment resolution
Using credit control reporting tools to ensure appropriate credit limits for customers are regularly reviewed/maintained
Raising credit notes when required
Setting up new Customers after verification process
Develop and maintain good relationships with Customers
Develop clear lines of communication with key operational areas of the company
Query handling and processing the mechanism for escalation of unresolved queries and problems
Understand and adhere to Company policies and procedures, which are relevant to both the site and the working environment
Any other duties as deemed reasonable by your line manager or senior management to assist with the operation of the business
Other ad hoc activities as required by the Finance Team

Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications

Demonstratable experience in a similar Accounts Receivable Clerk Position
Experienced raising and sending invoices to customers
Strong experience with Credit Control
Strong communication skills and confident building good relationships with colleagues/customers
Good attention to detail
Desirable Skills/Experience/Qualifications

AAT Qualified and / or CIMA/ACCA/ACA Part Qualified
Previous experience working within manufacturing
