Our client is currently looking for a Bookkeeper & Payroll processor to join their busy team in the Bordon area. They have a great environment and you will often find that they have friendly dogs in the office. The working hours are condensed into 4.5 days so that you receive a Friday afternoon off every week.

Main Bookkeeping Duties

• Sales and Purchase Ledger
• Bank and Credit card reconciliation
• Submitting VAT & CIS returns
• Credit Control
• Managing supplier payments
• Working with incomplete records
• Posting Journals
• Reconciling control accounts
• Preparing management accounts
• Preparing year end file for our accountants

Main Payroll Duties

• Sick Pay
• Maternity Pay
• Auto Enrolment
• CIS
• Salary Sacrifice
• Setting up new payroll schemes
• Applying for PAYE on behalf of clients
• Frequent starters and leavers

Ideal Candidate:

• Practice or multi-industry experience preferable
• Experience using Xero & SAGE 50 software
• AAT Level 3 or higher (or equivalent)
• Experience using SAGE 50 Payroll and/or Xero Payroll
• Experience with auto-enrolment, particularly via NEST Pension
