Pure Resourcing Solutions are exclusively partnered to recruit this amazing opportunity to join a global, listed business, you will be leading a talented finance team in this key role as Assistant Finance Manager, for their UK and Ireland operation. This is a newly created role, as a result of the group growing significantly and will suit an ambitious candidate who is looking to take the next step in their career, with good routes for progression. We are seeking a commercially astute and proactive individual who will be responsible for the preparation, development, and analysis of key financial information. The right candidate will be comfortable and confident in presenting data to the Company’s management team, including highlighting any control issues to management and enabling them to make well-informed decisions regarding the future stability, growth, and profitability of the Company.Key responsibilities will include
  • Oversee line management of the Finance team leaders
  • Overseeing the preparation of management accounts and providing assistance to the UK and Ireland subsidiaries, where required
  • Audit the balance sheet for key financial risks
  • Prepare, review and present UK customer profitability reports and other financial data as requested
  • Support Business Managers to ensure all areas are making informed financial decisions
  • Assist with budgeting and quarterly re-forecasting
  • Assist with annual subsidiary audits, where required
  • Assistant in internal audits for the UK
  • Provide assistance and support to the internal ERP project, ensuring that the solution is fit for the business and requirements
  • Assist in the SECR reporting and other environmental reporting, where required
  • Assist with implementing corporate governance procedures, risk management and internal controls identified
The successful candidate will ideally be qualified CIMA/ACA/ACCA (QBE will be considered)The individual will have a high level of excel capability, ideally working with large data sets Staff management experience will be advantageous although not essential An effective communicator, comfortable liaising and presenting to senior stakeholdersThis is a great opportunity to join a hugely successful, global group at their Group Head Office, working alongside a talented team within a business that can offer a path for progression.
