Due to the expansion of our operations, we have an exciting opportunity available for a highly motivated Regional Operations Manager to join our field-based management team on a full-time permanent basis, managing the London region. We are currently offering a salary of £48,000 per annum with car allowance/company car, with the opportunity to earn up to £1,500 bonus per quarter (depending on performance)

All about our Regional Operations Manager role:

As our Regional Operations Manager you will manage and lead a team of self-employed Installers, Surveyors and Field Support Managers with the aim to maintain and deliver the operational success of the region.

With a focus on high quality customer service and Right First Time, you will take ownership and drive success within the region by:
  • Managing the profit and loss for the region to budget, ensuring fit costs are in line with budget.
  • Proactively looking after the installations experience for our customers, making sure that all customer enquiries are addressed, handled and actioned promptly.
  • Acting as the main point of contact between our Installers, Customers and Head Office regarding installation and surveying queries.
  • Ensuring Right First Time is achieved.
  • Managing the regions remedial and guarantee claims.
  • Identifying recruitment, training and up-skilling needs of sub contract fitters and surveyors.
  • Ensuring compliance with Hammonds standards, policies, and procedures at all times, including full compliance with relevant Health and safety and environmental legislation.
  • In-field risk management, including, manual handling, use of power tools, PAT testing checks and RCD checks.

Whilst it is ideal that you have experience within the fitted furniture industry, it is not essential.

We believe that product knowledge can be learned and our company induction and training opportunities will support with this. All that we ask is that you are a customer-focused Regional Operations Manager with willingness to go above and beyond to develop and maintain internal and external customer relationships.

To be truly successful within the role, you will need to thrive and enjoy the challenge of a fast-paced business environment.

You will also need:
  • ILM level 3 or equivalent management qualification
  • IOSH qualification
  • Current full valid driving license

Ideally you will have:
  • Strong organisational, planning and prioritising abilities
  • High attention to detail
  • Problem solving skills
  • Decision making skills

Please note due to the nature of the role you will need to be flexible in your approach as we work across a 7 day-installations operation which can include evenings and weekends, with occasional on-site working based in Hinckley, Leicestershire.
