This Australian subsidiary of an international manufacturing and services group have operated with excellence for over 40 years. The business has grown organically in the Australian market and caters for a diverse client base across residential, commercial, industrial, hospitality and healthcare markets.

Reporting to the Finance Director, the Financial Accountant will be responsible for:

• Preparing & posting month end journals, accruals & prepayments
• Preparing balance sheet, bank, credit and general ledger reconciliations and variance analysis
• Acting as a key point of contact for assisting and liaising with external auditors
• Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts
• Reconciling CAPEX budget to actual spend and explaining variances
• Maintaining the fixed asset register

Your Experience

• Completed bachelor's degree and studying or completed CPA/CA
• Highly desirable that you have experience in a services related business where you had exposure to job cost performance reporting
• You are a confident user of ERP systems, it is a bonus if you have used MS Dynamics 365
• You are able to operate in a hands-on, busy role where you will be charged with providing financial information to non-finance stakeholders based nationally on a regular basis
