Our client, a prominent growing company with ample funding based in the Sydney are looking to recruit a Financial Accountant to take responsibility for the reporting for their client's funds

In this role you will be required to act as the primary point of contact for key internal and external stakeholders. Using a breadth of accounting skills you will be required to investigate the integrity of information from the business, deliver timely and accurate financial reports, and provide the team ideas for process improvements

Key Responsibilities include:

• Preparation of financial statements and review of accounts
• Liaising with auditors and clients and be the first point of contact for review and resolve any issues
• Provides information, reports and conduct analysis for the investment group
• Completing account reconciliations
• APRA reporting
• Liaise and manage relationships with Auditors
• Adhere and review operational risk policies

Skills and Experience Required

It is likely that you will have Fund/Financial Accounting experience and be looking for a new challenge in a team environment.

• CA / CPA qualified (or close to)
• Great interpersonal skills
• Strong Communication skills
• Be a good team player

Candidates of interest will be able to demonstrate previous experience within an Investment, Superannuation or funds services business where they have performed financial reporting, distribution calculations, tax, unit pricing, and reconciliations.
