The Company
This large, privately owned, FMCG business, operates across all of Australia. Due to year on year growth over the last few years, a newly created role has been created requiring a commercially focused finance business partner to support the sales and manufacturing teams.

The role
Working in this newly shaped business partnering team, the role will be a mix of analysis - sales, operations and value add, monthly reporting and investigative work around standard costing & inventory. The position will require someone who is happy to work under their own steam, able to liaise between operations and finance, and be able to see opportunities to help the business around profitability, commercial decision making and costs. You will provide general support to the sales / operational managers in terms of whilst being responsible for the overall divisions monthly reporting and analysis. As this is a newly created role, its envisaged that the role will have alot of autonomy and scope, requiring the candidate to be able to think on their feet, whilst understanding the requirements of a complex manufacturing business.

The Candidate
Ideally, you will be a qualified accountant (CA/CPA) with some experience working in a manufacturing business, being able to understand key costing principles, whilst being a key finance business partner to the business. Ideally, you will already have gained some operational, business partnering experience, used to complex matrix reporting, and have good business partnering skills.
