Junior Bookkeeper for Dynamic Practice in Bourne End, Bucks

Employed - Full time - Salary £21,000 to £23,000

We are a Bookkeeping and Accountancy team based in Bourne End in Buckinghamshire. We are growing and are now ready to add another Junior Bookkeeper to our team.

Key Roles &

Responsibilities:


* Processing of data into Clients’ accounts from both manual and automated sources

* Assisting with bespoke bookkeeping and reporting processes for Clients

* Managing a small client portfolio

* Bank reconciliations

* Preparation and submission of VAT returns under supervision

* Running reports to confirm the accuracy of data

* Other duties as may from time to time become necessary, including client admin

Key Skills & Experience:

* You must have achieved at least Level 2 ICB or AAT qualification and be working towards Level 3

* Practical bookkeeping experience using either Quickbooks or Xero would be an advantage, but full training and support will be given

* Good working knowledge of MS Excel

* You are not afraid to challenge the status quo if you can see a better way of doing things

* You have a good working knowledge of accounting and accounts preparation software (Quickbooks, Xero and TaxCalc a definite advantage), as well as Word, Excel and Outlook
