Interim Management Accountant
Job type: Interim Contract (6 months+)

NXT is working on behalf of a well-established business in Carlisle as we recruit an Interim Management Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity to support our client during this busy period.
Duties will include:
* Preparing, developing, and analysing financial information for the management team
* Presenting financial data to support effective financial decision making
* Working closely with the management team to maximise growth opportunities
* Preparing periodical statements, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, budgets, cash flows and variance analysis, balance sheet reconciliations
* Produce monthly fixed asset, depreciation, and lease schedules
* Supporting the finance team with training needs
* Analysing financial performance to support business planning and forecasting
Skills and Experience:
* CIMA or ACCA qualified or qualified by experience
* Previous Management Accountant experience essential
* Strong technical background including knowledge of Finance Leases, revenue recognition, and investment appraisals
* Previous experience being involved in ERP/Software implementation is preferable
* Highly organised with the ability to manage pressure and deadlines
* Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise across departments
* A keen eye for detail and able to work to a high degree of accuracy
* A strong team player and able to able to integrate into the team with ease
