Head Of Finance
The Head of Finance will be based in Croydon and is responsible for leading the finance function for the organisation. It is a position that remains key to ensuring that the organisation is making the best use of its financial resources and to continue to achieve our bold ambitious plans.
Key
Responsibilities:
To develop and manage the finance team.
Reviewing the team's responsibilities along with the needs of the business and ensuring the finance department is structured in the best way.
Reviewing the finance system and ensuring the finance department is utilising the system in the right way and that the relevant information can be pulled out.
Working with the business to understand the key information they need from finance and improving management reporting in line with this.
Keeping the business-as-usual activities running within finance including managing cashflow and overseeing payroll.
Develop financial models to help the organisation manage financial sustainability as its operating model evolves. This will also offer monthly forecasting of going concern.
You will oversee the development of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and ensuring their distribution to managers. You will also be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the annual budget delivery plan, which will be used to inform business decisions.
Take the lead on specialised and innovative finance projects to suit the organisation's changing needs and ensuring financial systems and procedures are adaptable, offering assistance and advice to colleagues in their use.

Qualified finance professional: ACCA, ACA, CIPFA, or CIMA with a track record of successfully leading a financial partnering service, managing a high-calibre, multi-disciplinary team to deliver against challenging timeframes.
Knowledge of current accounting technical updates
Strong experience creating financial models, operating principles, and managing complicated budgeting and reporting systems.
Proven project and team management ability
