The Job

  • Take complete ownership with a clear understanding of CAD (Customer Accounting Division) related activities and processes.
  • Manage Transaction Posting activities relating to direct deposits, failed payments, updating deactivated accounts, processing standing instructions.
  • Process waivers, cheque returns, staff deductions, e-channelling, payment cancellations & reversals.
  • Update key reconciliations and dashboards such as Daily Payment dashboard,SMAP dashboard, waiver dashboard, Local Call Deposits (LCD) collections outstanding dashboard, bill payments Vs source documents reconciliation, etc.
  • Manage CAD day-to-day queries (Service Requests - SR & First Time Recharge - FTR) using Airtel applications.
  • Coordinate and handle all customer payment touch points' related work such as Banks, Modern Trades, General Trade, Airtel Stores and Brand Shops.
  • Closely monitor and manage Airtel and outsourced staff performing CAD activities.
  •  Ensure CAD processes are well managed and adequate measures are taken to ensure that there are no non-compliance breaches.

The Person

  • Degree in Accounting and Finance/ Business Management or Fully/Partly qualified in CIMA .
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  •  Experience in Telecommunications industry would be an added advantage.
  •  Good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with cross functional teams.
