Payroll Officer, Process weekly/monthly payroll


Your new company
Our client are a growing and successful company based in Loughborough that are looking to add an experienced payroller to their finance team to support the growth of the business.

Your new role
You will be responsible for the following;

• Ensure compliance with external regulations, legislation and internal procedures, practices, and standards Including green and burgundy books
• Provide effective customer service to employees including delivery of feedback, training and query resolution.
• Responsible for completing monthly payroll balance sheet reconciliations to agreed deadlines.
• Complete journal postings relating to correct payroll transactions as required.
• Complete monthly and annual ONS reports related to payroll within deadlines provided.
• Deal with pay, arrestment and pension queries from employees and approved outside agencies.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous experience working as part of a payroll team, ideally processing payroll for a high volume of employee's.

As well as a very competitive salary of £28k per year you will also benefit form a very generous 30 days annual leave (plus statutory).
