Financial Management Lead (FTC)
Homebased – Flexible, United Kingdom

Salary: £50,466-£60,330 (National Framework) or £55,635-£65,499 (London Framework – if you are London office based or homebased and live within the boundary of the M25) – There is also an additional homeworking allowance of £529 per annum for those working from home
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week
Contract: 18 Month Fixed Term or Secondment Opportunity
Location: Office based with the flexibility to work from home up to two days per week

Our Finance, Commercial, Workplace and Performance (FCWP) Team provides a high-quality financial service across our organisation. Together with your expertise, we can work towards building a safer, stronger health and social care service across the country.

We’re now looking for a Financial Management Lead to join the team on an 18 month fixed term contract, working 37 hours per week.

What you will bring…

To be considered as the Financial Management Lead, you will need:

- To be a qualified accountant
- Team management and leadership experience within a Finance environment
- Strong experience and expert knowledge of different financial systems
- Experience of designing and creating financial reporting information
- Substantial knowledge and experience of working with performance management of shared service providers

What you’ll be doing…

As our Financial Management Lead, you will provide a robust, effective and high-performing finance service and lead on all aspects of financial management and planning.

Working as part of the Finance Senior Leadership Team, you will ensure an effective reporting service is in place for financial performance and insight. You will make sure we are meeting data, analysis and insight requirements and maximising the capabilities of our finance systems.

You will develop and deliver systems for monitoring Finance performance, ensuring appropriate controls and procedures are in place. Working with stakeholders to understand data requirements, you will manage and track all issues, risks and quality specifications.

Additionally, you will:

- Oversee training and development requirements
- Maintain effective financial records
- Contribute to a strong leadership team
