About the role
Financial reporting plays a key part of our business support services. Your ability to assist in the provision and interpretation of our financial and accounting reports in a timely and accurate manner, will make this opportunity a success. The financial reporting team forms part of the finance group who also look after payroll, accounts payable/receivable and project accounting.
In more detail the role includes:
- Processing bank payments
- Preparing, filing, and reconciling Australian, New Zealand and Samoan GST
- Updating and preparing 12 month rolling cash forecast
- Monthly reconciliations including bank, accounts receivable and WIP
- Maintaining the Accounting and Tax Fixed Assets Registers
- Preparing payroll clearing account reconciliation and salary accrual journals
- Assisting with the preparation of the Quarterly Reporting Pack

Qualifications
To be successful for this role you'll need:
A minimum of 2 years accounting experience (preferably using Oracle or similar ERP system) and working towards an accounting qualification. You will be experienced in Microsoft Office packages, with particular emphasis on Excel. As well as being organised and understanding new processes quickly, you'll demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills. Meeting a variety of deadlines is essential, so your time management skills will be exemplary. There will still be time for some fun and with our location in Hazeldean Business Park, Hagley Park and lots of other amenities are only a short walk away.
