Management Accountant

We are working in partnership with our client to recruit for a Management Accountant on a permanent basis

This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly-created role within a growing organisation. This role will primarily support the Financial Controller in producing the monthly management accounts.

Your new role

In this role, you will be responsible for :

• The management accounts process, balance sheet, cash flow, P&L
• Preparing KPI reports
• Preparing month end journal
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Accruals, prepayments, reallocations
• General management of trial balance
• Business partnering with budget holders
• Assisting FC with preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Manage VAT

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you will need :

• Previous experience in a Management Accountant / Assistant Management Accountant role
• Ideally you will be studying towards an accounting qualification, however QBE will be considered
• Strong Excel skills (intermediate - advanced)
• To be a confident and clear communicator

What you'll get in return

• A salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum depending on experience
