Hays are delighted to be working exclusively with our client, a large growing services group, in recruiting for a Head of Finance/Senior Finance Business Partner to join them on an Interim basis whilst they recruit for a permanent role. This PE backed group are growing both organically and through acquisition, making this an exciting time to join the business.

Your new role
As Head of Finance whose duties encompass a large amount of business partnering, overseeing two key business areas, you will drive financial performance whilst ensuring the integrity of the P&L and balance sheet. Main duties involved in your role will include:

• Provide analysis and insight into the financial results to help drive informed business decision making.
• Manage the accurate and timely reporting of all financial information, ensuring the P&L and balance sheet comply with US GAAP and Group accounting policies.
• Provide advice and support to the contract management teams on financial / commercial issues and attend client meetings where required.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will need to be a qualified accountant, with a combination of commercial business partnering and strong financial management/head of experience from a large complex business. Experience of outsourced government contracts is highly desirable.

What you'll get in return
This assignment duration is expected to be between 3-6 months, and you will receive up to £600 per day inside of IR35.
