Reporting to f Business Planning Head, Production and Procurement Africa, the incumbent is responsible for making Westfalia Fruit Products successful through providing high level, proactive Cost Accounting and Financial Administration services to operational management and to report on and alert management should major variances between budget/standards and actual cost occur. The position will focus on ensuring that the cost of products is accurate and include all relevant cost of production, and that the resultant cost of sales and closing inventories are accurate and complete.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Degree in Accounting or Cost Accounting
• Management & Cost accounting experience
• 3-5 experience of working in a manufacturing environment with costing, finances and inventory
• CIMA qualification would be an advantage
• Valid driver's license

Knowledge:

• Knowledge of Accounting software -Accpac/Pastel/Palbroker D365, Finnivo will be advantageous
• Excellent knowledge of Advanced Excel, i.e. able to do Pivot tables, V-lookup, etc
• knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards experiences will be advantageous
• Good knowledge of Management & Cost accounting principles
