Your new role

Your new role as Data Protection Officer will involve reporting to the General Counsel. This exciting new role will be the first Data Protection Officer they have had as previously they outsourced this role. You will be the main point of contact for any data related issues within the organisation. Dealing with sensitive and valuable information will be a main activity performed by the successful candidate as well as ensuring the organisations policy's and procedures are compliant with GDPR. Occasionally training stakeholders of all levels of seniority within the company will be required.

Once the recruitment process starts they are keen for the process to move quickly and there is an opportunity for a team to be built around the Data Protection Officer position.


What you'll need to succeed

• Extensive Data Protection experience.
• Experience in the Marketing sector is desirable but is not essential.
• Managing stakeholders is a bonus.
• Ability to cultivate an environment of digit protection throughout the organisation.
