RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Saint Louis, MO that is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant.

Responsibilities:

• The Senior Tax Accountant will prepare and review state and local income and franchise tax compliance for domestic entities

Working knowledge of multi-state filing requirement including apportionment methodologies and nexus concepts
Identify opportunities and implement actions to improve state tax compliance and provision processes and improve efficiencies and controls
As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will calculate estimated tax payments
Provide support on M&A due diligence and state restructuring projects as needed
Assist with state controversies and notices
Research technical issues and provide sound tax advice
Remain current on existing and new state tax legislation
Analyze and communicate the impact of new developments to Domestic Tax Director
Responsible for the Federal Return and Tax Provision for small entities within the organization
The Senior Tax Accountant will provide support for shared services expansion
Special projects - as requested
