The David B. O’Maley College of Business at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (Daytona Beach Campus) seeks applications for a tenure track faculty position, at the Assistant Professor level, to teach general accounting and auditing courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels in a face-to-face modality. The candidate will be expected to meet the expectations for teaching, scholarship, and service as set forth by the criteria of the O’Maley College of Business, the College’s accrediting agencies, and commensurate with the rights, duties, and obligations of a faculty member of a similar rank as set out by the academic policies of the college and the university.

 

Candidates must have completed a Ph.D., or a DBA, or an Executive DBA in accounting from an accredited institution. Applicants with a doctoral degree in a business discipline with at least 18 credit hours in accounting courses at the master level or above, as well as ABDs are encouraged to apply. Strong preference will be given to candidates with professional certifications such as, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Certified Management Accountant (CMA), a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA), a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), or a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), and proven practical forensic accounting experience.

 

The College of Business offers two undergraduate programs: A Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Business Administration. At the Graduate level, the College of Business offers a Master of Business Administration (MBA), a Master of Business Administration in Aviation Management (MBA in AM), a Master of Science in Aviation Finance (MSAF), Master of Science in Aerospace Business Analytics (MSABA), Master of Business Administration Combined Programs, and a DBA in Aviation Business Administration
