Your responsibilities
- cooperate closely with local in-country teams to ensure payroll is delivered accurately and on time for your respective market
- analyse variance, payroll controls for accurate payslip generation
- provide expertise on payroll issues, resolve employee queries and solicit advisement for complex queries
- ensure adherence to compliance
- manage payroll reports for respective markets
- prepare and submit all necessary paperwork for tax deductions, benefits, and garnishments
- process benefit costs, like insurance fees and sick leaves
- manage payment calendars for the fiscal year
- liaise with external vendors and stakeholders (third party vendors, government authorities)
- take significant part in payroll related projects, e.g. process automation, system integration
Our requirements
- fluency in English. Any other European language would be a big advantage (e.g., German, Danish, Dutch, Romanian, French, Hungarian)
- at least 1 year of experience in the payroll/accounting/finance field
- strong customer service orientation
- good knowledge of Excel
- team player - empathetic, supportive, and collaborative
- ability to successfully juggle multiple priorities
