Audit & Accounts Manager/ Senior Manager - Not for Profit Sector
A long-standing and reputable Top 25 accountancy practice expanding its Not-For-Profit (NFP) Department team due to continued growth seeks an Audit & Accounts Manager.
Day-to-day responsibilities and motivation to apply:
* Work with a varied and exciting portfolio of NFP, non-corporate and charity clients. Clients include charities, trade unions, schools, trade associations and professional societies.
* Responsible for auditing assignments and accounts preparation, and taxation assignments.
* Primarily audit split 70% audit vs 30% accounts/taxation assignments.
* An established firm with an excellent reputation and recognition and low employee turnover
* Want to supervise and play a crucial part in the development of the team's trainees and junior staff
Experience and skills:
* Auditing and accounting experience for a UK-based accountancy practice.
* Audit experience working with a portfolio of clients across the NFP sector.
* Working on audit assignments from planning to completion and presenting completed accounts and tax computations.
* A recent track record in auditing and accounts preparation.
* Experience with CCH preferred.
